Looking for gift ideas? Go no further, The Maine Gift Guide is out now.

The Maine Gift Guide

The Maine Gift Guide is assembled & curated by the talented & tall Alex Steed from Knack Factory. He compiles the list with the help of the creative minds at Might & Maine, and Townie Supply Company co-owner Emily Page. Together they have compiled a list of gifts that fit in the stocking, under the tree, in your wallet or even just in your heart...

A few of those nods can be summed up in Alex's words...

"My great friend Lauren Rioux is playing a show at One Longfellow Square. She will be joined by other friends and extraordinarily talented musicians Brittany Haas (Live from Here, David Rawlings Machine, Hawktail), OLS fave Joe K. Walsh (Mr. Sun), Yann Falquet (Genticorum) and special guest Claire Scott. This event will blow you away, I promise. Check it out.

PICNIC is a great place to buy locally crafted gifts, as is the MECA Holiday Sale. Have you ever gone to Kennebunk’s Prelude events? It is beautiful and people get adorably sloppily wine drunk.

If you’re hankering to give to some good, local causes, there is a hearty list of organizations to consider down below, but might I suggest MaineTransNet, Speak About It, The Travis Mills Foundation, or Maine Immigrants Legal Advocacy Project.

If you're giving the gift of books or music, please shop with our friends at Print Bookstore and Bullmoose, or any of the amazing independently owned shops throughout the state. "
