When you think of Maine, do you think of Hip-Hop? Spose will change your mind.

With an ability to bend & blend words and a band set on fire, Spose has the Mountaintop in site.

He's been at it for a while and tasted the fame from one of his earliest releases when he was talking about how awesome he was. It was funny. You laughed along with his hip-hop self-deprecating sense of humor.

He never left, he's just been busy. Making records, playing shows, writing books, making babies. He's the real deal, a full deck and he can scramble language to make it sound like he's ringing a bell.

It's no small feat, he makes it looks so easy, like watching Miles Davis blow through Kind of Blue, an effortless nod to the genius within. Spose has the ability to hold it all together, he keeps his cool and lets it bleed slowly until you are consumed with the energy he puts forth. And look at the band he's assembled behind him. From Rustic Overtones members singing and playing, to KG Freeze front man calmed down a notch slaying into the guitar. It's a juggernaut of a musical onslaught. You will be left dripping with amazement, and exhausted just watching the effort they put into their show.

Spose & The Humans are playing the 5th annual PDank Christmas at Aura December 12 at 8pm.
