Fetch ME a Home: Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland, April 21, 2018

This week's Fetch ME a Home featured pet is Suede from Puerto Rico!

PORTLAND (NEWS CENTER Maine)-- This week's Fetch ME a Home featured pet is Suede from Puerto Rico!

This pup is estimated to be about three-years-old and his silky, soft fur is what inspired his name. Suede is very gentle and will delicately take treats right out of your hand and follow up with gentle kisses. He enjoys cuddling and playing with his toys. Suede's sweet attitude is the first thing you'll notice about him, and surely the reason you'll fall in love with him.

In his short time on Earth, Suede has already faced a hard life. Thanks to Al Sato Rescue and Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland, Suede and dozens of other dogs were rescued from the streets of Puerto Rico which is still recovering from the effects of Hurricane Maria. Suede's handlers believe he was owned at one point and then abandoned, and his body shows scars and scrapes sustained from his time fending for himself. However, Suede has gotten the medical attention he needs and is ready to give all his love to a new forever family.

Could you be the family Suede is looking for? Contact Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland today to schedule a visit with the whole family, tow legged and four legged!
