Teenager crashes into residence in Perham

According to Deputy Sheriff Reid Clark, a 16-year-old girl from Perham hit the side of a home in a 2014 KIA Sorrento after she tried to stop at an intersection.

PERHAM (NEWS CENTER Maine)-- The Aroostook County Sheriff's office responded to a motor vehicle crash where a teenage girl hit the side of a residence on Saturday morning.

According to Deputy Sheriff Reid Clark, a 16-year-old girl from Perham hit the side of a home in a 2014 KIA Sorrento after she tried to stop at an intersection.

Clark said the crash was due to icy road conditions. The home owner was inside the residence during the crash and was uninjured.

The girl was transported to AR Gould Hospital in Presque Isle for non-life threatening injuries.
